Together we will tackle the many components of reading. I work with my students to expand their knowledge of basic reading skills and to further develop their knowledge of Text Dependent Analysis Questions.

Independent Reading Logs for each nine weeks are due one week prior to the last day of the grading period.

Unit 1 - Students analyzed passages centered around the idea of "Rites of Passage." For an introductory activity, each student created a timeline showing important events in their lives.
Junior Honor Society
The YIMS Junior Honor Society offers tutoring during period 10 on selected days throughout the week. If any student would like extra help with content, he or she should ask Mrs. Henry for a pass to JHS tutoring.
